Reception have been very busy learning all about animals and pets!
Inspired by our class text ‘I want a pet’ by Lauren Child, we wrote letters to the pet shop to ask if we could have a pet. We were delighted to recieve a letter telling us that we could have pet fish!
We have set up our fish tank ready for our new friends, and have been thinking lots about how to care for different animals.
We even made our own pets out of salt-dough and wrote instructions to help others know how to look after them.
