Year 4 have been exploring the book Firebird by Saviour Pirotta.
Year 4 have been writing excellent character descriptions of Prince Ivan. They have also started re-telling the story themselves and using lots of ambitious vocabulary, they are really impressing their teachers!
We have also enjoyed looking at the beautiful illustrations by Catherine Hyde to inspire our descriptions and story telling. We can’t wait to find out to Prince Ivan and the Firebird!
