We hope that our Muslim families enjoyed their Eid celebrations and marked the end of Ramadan with sumptuous feasts!
We welcomed the Bishop of Fulham, The Rt Revd Jonathan Baker, to celebrate our annual confirmation service in which 16 children were confirmed. It was, as ever, a very special occasion where the confirmation candidates were supported by the school community and their families.
The time has come for you to share your thoughts about the school. We invite you to complete the online survey which you will be sent via sms and email. You can also access it here. We are hoping that having an electronic questionnaire will enthuse more parents to complete the form. If you have any problems, please contact the school office. Please can we also remind you that if there is something that you feel less happy with, adding a comment in the box will give us a better understanding of your concern and how we might be able to resolve it. We thank you for your continued support.
National Children’s Arts Week happens next week and we are celebrating in school with lots of creative events planned! We have an art historian coming to give talks, the children will be visiting galleries, our writing will be inspired by famous paintings and of course – the highlight of the week – children will be taking part in practical workshops, run by wonderful volunteers in our parent community – thank you so much!
All week there will be a pop up exhibition in the lower hall. We ask that children and adults bring in a picture/photo of some art work that has inspired them. Please write a sentence as to why and pin them on the boards.
Keep an eye on our website, or follow the Art Room Instagram: htss_art to see what we create! And if you can donate any clean, plastic bottles or milk cartons, we still need them! Please bring them to the art room ASAP. Thank you!

Our Christian value for this half term is ‘Service.’
The concept of service calls for us all to lay selfish things aside for the needs of others. It is also an important value for all social relationships. The parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us that we should serve those in need, whoever they are. Such service is not offered to gain some advantage for ourselves. ‘Going the extra mile’ involves sacrifice and putting ourselves out for someone else’s benefit – something we can instinctively find difficult to do. It is then we must listen to our hearts that tell us it is the right choice to make.
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” (Hebrews 6:10)
