We were delighted to welcome Mr McIntyre back to school this week and although he is having to move around using crutches, he is well on the mend and was able to take Y4 for a visit to Camden Learning Centre today.

Choir are very much looking forward to performing St Matthew’s Passion at the Temple Church next week with other choirs, as part of our association with the English Touring Opera Company. As a school,  we also look forward to work beginning on our collaborative work with the ETO for our KS2 Christmas show.

Black History Month Project

Next Friday 19th Oct will mark the end of our Windrush topic, during which children have gained an understanding of how challenging it was for people of that generation coming to UK.  Every class will have a music workshop with Maroon Town, a London based band who fuse ‘the spirituality and cinematic sounds of classic ska with contemporary street rap and a cheeky slice of Latin funk’. School dinners will be a taste of the Caribbean and there will be a party from 2.45-3.15 – we would love you to come along and join us!

Christian Values

Koinonia is being in agreement with one another, being united in purpose, and serving alongside each other. It is also about our relationships with one another. We want to enable children to develop strong relationships within the school community, to support the development of their social and emotional skills, as well as embedding a sense of belonging. It is a constant area of development; relationships are continually tested and it can be easy in a busy day to respond without thinking of the impact on someone else. A positive relationship enhances our self-confidence and our willingness to explore something new – we are, after all, learners together not matter what our age.

“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.” 1 Peter 3:8
