It has been a great half term where the children have immersed themselves in Shakespeare’s tale, The Tempest. They have also started developing dance and performance skills with our specialist teachers in preparation for the awe inspiring performances that we all look forward to. Classrooms are also awash with shipwrecks as you can see below:

Visiting athlete – 5th March

Last week we sent home a letter with information and a sponsorship form related to the great opportunity of an athlete spending a day at our school.

Don’t forget to collect sponsorship money over the half-term break and return it to school in the first week back – the deadline is WEDNESDAY 26th FEBRUARY.

Sporting News

Earlier this week, children from Year 5 and 6 were selected to compete in a Trampolining competition against 3 other Camden primary schools. The children were given a routine to rehearse and then had to perform it at the end in front of two official judges. Overall, the team came in 1st place and also had two individual 1st place awards go to Lilly (Y6) and Alex (Y5), plus a 2nd place award to Bea Bea (Y5). Congratulations to all the children on their performances.

Christian Value

As we finish the half term, we must reflect on the ways we have all developed our endurance. While our attention moves to our next Christian value, we must remember that building greater endurance needs to be ongoing and that every little step we take forward will enable this to grow and deepen.

“My dear brothers and sisters, consider yourself fortunate when all kinds of trials come your way, for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure.” (James 1:2)
