I am what I do, and I do what I am. And so I can’t define when I’m doing my work as a priest, and when I’m not. My life is so ordinary and uninteresting; there’s nothing interesting to say. But, on the other level, my life is absolutely full.
Fr Graeme Rowlands

Thank you to families past and present for their generous donations and for joining our celebrations of our beloved Fr Graeme. We look forward to helping him plan a very special holiday to the Holy Land.

Christian Vision
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, by encouraging one another.
Hebrews 10:24-25

This has certainly been a week in which we have had to dig deep to spur one another on, as we prepare to adapt to life without Fr Graeme. Thankfully, we are delighted that he will still be regularly visible in our school during this period of transition. While we have had time to prepare ourselves for this huge loss and change, it is hard. We are sad and wonder why it has to happen. It is then that we must turn to our faith and trust in God. It is His plan. So we must focus on the happiness we have shared across the years, the lessons we have learned and the memories we have gained. This will, in time, make us stronger.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Attendance and Punctuality

We have had a good start to the year and attendance this week was 97%. We want to remind parents that it is not permissible to take children out of school for a holiday during term time. We appreciate that there are special occasions when families need to request time of school but these must be for exceptional reasons only and a form must be completed and given to the school office well in advance of the absence. Camden are stepping up their drive to improve attendance in the borough as the negative impact of missing school is significant for a child’s future prospects – please click this link for more information.
