What an awe inspiring week of performances from our children this week!

Both the performances and the work clearly demonstrate just how much the children have enjoyed exploring the themes of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ Please do pop in next week before or after school to look at children’s learning.

Christian Values

Our Christian value for this half term is Forgiveness

Forgiveness

We sometimes hesitate to forgive because we believe it means condoning the other person’s behaviours. However, understanding a possible trigger for the person’s actions encourages compassion and forgiveness. We want our children to understand that learning to let go may take time. The important lesson is to keep trying, making efforts, understanding forgiveness and loving kindness. Anger plus anger only equals more anger. Compassion and love are what heals.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13)
