It is not how much you do, but how much love you put into the doing.

Anti – Bullying Week is Monday 10th – Friday 14th November
Anti-bullying week is a proactive initiative to educate children, staff, and parents on how to stand against bullying and create a positive environment, not a reflection of widespread issues. It demonstrates a commitment to tackling the issue head-on and empowering everyone to contribute to a safe school community. We have used guidance and resources from the Anti-Bullying Alliance to plan the week and recommend that parent/carers read this pack to support in knowing the key messages that we will be sharing: https://anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/anti-bullying-week-2025/parents-and-carers.
Odd Socks Day is on Friday 14th November.

OPAL update
Many thanks to all the families who donated items for OPAL this week! The children really enjoyed getting creative with the cardboard boxes and playing with the toys. Children are practising getting the playground tidy nice and quickly at the end of play, using our new ‘Two hands, twice’ mantra. Ask your child what this means!
We will continue to collect donations in the blue OPAL bins outside the church hall. We now have plenty of cuddly toys and dress up, but are still in need of the following:
- Small world play e.g. toy cars, dinosaurs, people
- Water play e.g. buckets, watering cans, funnels
There are some items that we would like to purchase for the playground, including larger water play equipment, an additional music player, and more wooden blocks for construction. We have set up a permanent donations tab on ParentPay for OPAL donations, so if you would like to/are able to contribute to the project in this way, however big or small, please click on the link here to donate.

The Holy Trinity Way – Behaviour Tip: Accessing calm
When behaviour is wobbly and emotions are high, it is important that you can take control of your emotional responses. It can be useful to think of something that will help you do this – looking at a drawing your child has made you, listening to a specific piece of music or looking at a photo or video of your child that keeps your frustration in check.
Occasional Places
On occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.
Christian Vision
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.
Toward love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10: 24

As the vibrant colours of autumn surround us, we reflected this week on the importance of All Saints’ Day (November 1st) and All Souls’ Day (November 2nd).
All Saints’ Day is a joyful celebration where we honour the memory of extraordinary people – saints. They are examples to us of what it truly means to live a good life. Their actions, and the way they lived their lives, inspires us all to develop courage in standing up for what is right and to show deep care for others in our daily interactions. This inspiration helps us to flourish and grow into kind, well-rounded individuals and deepens our faith in order for us to be our fullest sense of self that God created us to be.
On All Souls’ Day, we remember and pray for all of our loved ones who have passed away. This day of reflection teaches us to cooperate in showing empathy and offering support to others who might be sad, and to cherish the loving memories we hold. It is a powerful time to reflect on life, love, and the enduring strength found in remembering those who have touched our hearts.
Attendance and Punctuality

Our attendance was 97% this week! Well done everyone for staying within the school standard this term so well and for taking advantage of every opportunity to learn.
The attendance bears went to: Rec with 99% and Y5 with 97.5%
Well done to REC, Y3 & Y4 for winning the early birds for punctuality.
