Christian Vision
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.
Toward love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10: 24

This week in collective worship, we reflected on what we should do with our special gifts or talents. We talked about how God gives each of us unique abilities, whether we are good at singing, playing sports or being caring to others. These talents are like special presents that we get to unwrap and use to make the world a better place.
We heard the story of Jesus and the Parable of the Talents and learned that hiding our gifts away is not what God wants us to do. Instead, He encourages us to use what we have been given, no matter how big or small it seems. Just like the servants in the story who used the money their master gifted them wisely, we should use our talents to help others and share God’s love.
We encouraged the children to think about their talents and how they can use them every day, both at school and at home. We also reminded them that for our talents to grow, we need courage to never give up, and co-operation to make the most of the help we are given to fulfil our potential.
At our school, we believe that through having high expectations and noticing the talents our children have, they will grow into confident, caring and courageous individuals who make a real difference in the world.

Attendance and Punctuality
We have started the first week positively at 97%. If we keep this up, we will all grow, flourish and work together to reach our full potential. There was a little bit of trouble with getting to school due to the train strikes this week. We feel confident everyone can get to school on time next week, ready for theirlearning.
The attendance bears went to Reception and Y4 who had zero absences this week! Amazing work. The early bird went to Y1 and Y6. Huge well done to everybody.
