The function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one’s potential.

Christian Vision
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.
We look forward to welcoming our SIAMS visitor on Monday. Thank you to the many parents who have sent comments and feedback to help the inspector get a feel for our wonderful school community! We are excited to show her all that we do together to fulfil our school’s Christian Vision (given above).
Occasional Places – on occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.
Sporting News
Congratulations to our superb KS2 athletes, who took part in a cross country running event today at Hampstead Heath. Coach Steve and all the accompanying staff and parents were super impressed with their individual and collective efforts to achieve their full potential! More details will follow in next week’s newsletter.

The Holy Trinity Way – Positive Noticing
You get more of the behaviour you notice most. This isn’t a magic trick or positive thinking self-delusion. When you notice the good stuff and tell people about it, you change your child’s thinking. Catching your child doing the right thing is more impactful than catching them doing the wrong thing. Practise switching your focus this week to the positives.
For more information about supporting positive behaviours both in school and at home, you can sign up to the ‘Behaviour Book Club’ session, hosted by Charlotte Clarke from ‘When The Adults Change,’ online at 8:00pm on the last Thursday of each month. You can find the joining link for the ‘Behaviour Book Club’ here.
If you’d like to learn more about the relational approach we use to positive behaviour management, you can buy a copy of ‘When The Parents Change, Everything Changes’ online here or we have copies available to borrow in school – ask us on the gate!
Parent carer survey on playtime
Before we begin our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) project in October, we need to know what you think about playtimes at our school right now. Please click here or scan the QR code below to complete the parent/carer survey by Monday 29th Sept:

Hebrews 10: 24

This week in collective worship we continued our focus on Moses, especially his amazing experience of seeing the burning bush and hearing God’s voice. Asked by God to return to Egypt, confront the pharaoh and free the Israelites from slavery, Moses felt unworthy of such a great task. However, God had high expectations of Moses and knew just how much he was capable of – God had chosen him for good reason! God knew that Moses would grow and flourish from a shy old man into a courageous and inspirational leader. God knew Moses would need help, so God promised to be with him, and also commanded that Moses should take his brother Aaron with him to Egypt, as Aaron was a skilled speaker. God knew that if Moses and Aaron worked together, they would achieve their full potential, and develop into the great people He had created them to be. Because of his depth in faith, Moses decided to trust God, even though he was full of doubt and fear.
The story of Moses shows that God has a specific plan for each of us, and by trusting in Him and using our gifts, we can start fulfilling our potential and making a positive impact on the world.
