Reception have begun their topic ‘Life below water’ and this week have been thinking about how wonderful and important our oceans are to us.
Over the half term Reception made their own ‘Life below water’ dioramas to prepare for our topic. Check them out!
Reception have also been taking part in the Wildlife Trusts ’30 days wild’ initiative-endeavouring to do at least one thing every day to celebrate our natural world.
This week we have read books about wild creatures, looked for insects in our flower beds, made homes for minibeasts and had our snack outside whilst looking up at the clouds.
We have also planted our own Basil plants and are looking forward to seeing them grow!
