Year 6 have been learning about Judaism in R.E. Do you know what a Mezuzah is? A Mezuzah is a special box with a scroll inside on which the Shema (a special Jewish affirmation) is written on. Jews attach Mezuzahs to their door so that when they walk through, they touch it to remind themselves of God. Year 6 have made and decorated their own Mezuzahs and will soon write their own affirmations to go in them!
