Each year, in November, over 40,000 people around the world, come together to give their time, not their money, to make a difference to the community around us. Mitzvah Day introduces young people to social action, to their neighbours and to local charities, setting up projects, which address real needs.

Social Action projects make a vital difference to the world around us and can include a wide variety of activities.

On this occasion the Year 6’s baked hedgehog buns and brought them to the wonderful people at Maitland Park care home. We had a great time chatting and even sang a few songs. The children made a lasting impact on the friends we met today. Well done Year 6 for being so respectful and building links with our community.
