Thank you to everyone who took part in Prayer Week. Prayer Week was a chance to focus on an individual world religion each day as well as many other chances for prayer throughout the week.

We started off the week with a visit from Fr Peter Anthony, the Parish Priest of S. Benet, Kentish Town who introduced the four elements of prayer.

On Tuesday, Triya and Freya’s mum came in to talk about prayer in Hinduism.

On Wednesday, Student Rabbi Elliot spoke to the school about prayer in Judaism.

On Thursday, we had a visit from Navleen from the Central Gurdwara to teach us about prayer in the Sikh faith.

On Friday, we finished of Prayer Week with a visit from Ali who spoke to us about the Islam prayer ritual.

Throughout the week, the prayer room was being used for class and lunchtime prayer.

We wrote collective class prayers which are now on display in office.

We consulted parents, staff and children about which bible verse encapsulates our school community and all it does.
