Over the past few weeks, it has been very busy in Year 1! Here are a few things that we have been up to:
Our final Mystery Reader of the Autumn Term
We have had our last mystery reader of the term. It was Johnny’s grandma! She read two books and even made gingerbread biscuits that we were able to enjoy! Thank you to all our mystery readers this term!
The Sheepshape Nativity
Year 1 became wise men for our performance of the Sheepshape Nativity. Our song was called ‘follow the star’ but we also sang ‘Christmas is for sheep’ and ‘Ready to shine’ which was Year 2 and Reception’s song. Our play was a little bit different to the normal Nativity, it was told from the point of view of the poor old sheep who always get forgotten.
