This week it was Year 1’s time to shine!
We told the story of Katie (from the book, Katie in London), who has a brother called Jack. Katie’s grandma took them to Camden for the day, where they met a horse called Conker and went back in time. We used rhyming couplets and song to tell our audience about how Camden used to be. Well done to all of Year 1 for a fantastic performance. You made everyone very proud!
In Year 1 today, we had our weekly mystery reader who was Jim (Guy’s dad). Jim read two books with the children this morning. The first book was ‘Zog and the flying doctor’ and ‘Shark in the dark’.
