As part of our learning about animals in Science, Year 1 visited London Zoo today to find out more!
We explored the zoo, looking at our favourite animals and we also had a workshop from one of the zookeepers about the different groups of animals there were. We were able to touch the skins of the animals and we came up with describing words to explain what they felt like. After, we were about to meet a real life mammal which was a rat from the zoo which we were about to touch as well. Thank you to all the parent helpers who volunteered for our trip!
