This term, our topic is about Camden Market and what is used to be like.

We have focused on the stables in particular and learnt that it used to be a horse hospital as well as stables. For this display, we took our inspiration from the poem, ‘The Sound Collector’ by Roger McGough to understand what sounds would be made in Camden Market during the Victorian times. We wrote our own poems to portray these sounds and explored onomatopoeias to make the sounds in the stables come to life.
