Year 2 celebrated Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday this week
We enjoyed pancakes in preparation for Lent and attended an Ash Wednesday mass with Father Graeme. We learnt about Jesus’ time in the desert and why Christians give up things for Lent as well as the significance of using ash from palm leaves on Ash Wednesday.
