Today Year 2 learnt about the symbol of Jesus as a guiding light for Christians. They discussed what it meant, and then thought about the guiding lights in their lives. Here are some of their ideas;
“My mummy is my guiding light because she gives me advice.”
“My guiding light is my mummy and dad because they help me do my reading record when I need to do it.”
“My mummy is my guiding light because she helps me with my homework.”
“My guiding light is my sister because she holds my hand.”
“My dog is my guiding light because he helps me when I am sad.”
“My guiding light is my family and my neighbour.”
“My mummy is my guiding light. She helps me when I am sick.”
“My guiding light is my music teacher because he shows me how to aim at something when it is tricky.”
