Year 4 have been exploring a tale from Namibia, Africa. They have learnt about the rich culture of Namibia and explored the tradition of story telling. We looked at a tale about a character called Nolwandle, which means ‘girl of the waves’.
Year 4 re-told the tale in their own words and then had a go at being story tellers themselves by performing to the class. Year 4 put a lot of effort into their performances showcasing some creative actions and other ways to engage the audience as they told their story.
