This week in Science, we explored the properties of materials through a practical experiment inspired by Cinderella. In the activity, Cinderella needed our help after her stepsisters mixed various materials such as paper clips, soil, and lentils together. Our challenge was to separate these materials using only the tools provided—without touching them directly.
Working collaboratively in groups, we designed and created our own tools, such as sieves and tweezers, to effectively complete the task. This hands-on investigation helped us deepen our understanding of material properties and problem-solving skills while encouraging teamwork and creativity.
