Year 1 have really enjoyed exploring their new text ‘The Pet Potato’ by Josh Lacey and Momoko Abe – so much so that they actually made their own pet potatoes in class! The children designed and then created their own ‘pets’, before using them as stimulus for creative writing. We think they look amazing!
