This week in Science, Year 2 have been learning all about plants. The children explored the different parts of a plant and thought carefully about the important jobs each one does. They then moved on to looking closely at a variety of seeds. The children compared their sizes, shapes and colours, noticing both similarities and differences. Everyone enjoyed being curious scientists and asking questions about how these seeds might grow into very different plants.
