Our text study this term is Starbird by Sharon King-Chai. In our lessons, we brainstormed the different characteristics of the three main characters — The Moon King, The Princess, and Starbird. We used clues from the story to infer each character’s traits and gave evidence from the text to support our ideas. This helped us to write detailed character descriptions for each character.
