Last week, Y5 went on a class trip to Westminster Abbey.
Two days before we left, Father Graeme came in and spoke to the children about the history and what our trip would involve. The children then wrote prayers that they would be leaving at the Shrine of St. Edward.
When we got to Westminster Abbey, we has a mass in Saint Faith’s chapel and then had a guided tour around. Later in the day we spent some time at the shrine of St. Edward, where Father Graeme led us in a service and read the prayers that the children had written earlier.
