This week, our Reception class embarked on an exciting minibeast hunt in the playground. Armed with magnifying glasses and enthusiasm, the children explored the outdoor area, searching for tiny creatures hiding under leaves and on plants.

Guided by a minibeast checklist, they identified various insects, from ladybirds to ants, enhancing their observational skills and understanding of nature. This hands-on activity not only sparked curiosity but also fostered teamwork as the children shared their discoveries and observations.

The minibeast hunt provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to connect with the natural world, promoting environmental awareness and a sense of wonder. We look forward to more outdoor explorations in the future!
