Pupil Leadership at HTSS:
Every autumn term, pupils in Year 6 apply for a variety of pupil leadership roles. As well as submitting a written application, they also attend an interview with the Senior Leadership Team to discuss their ideas for how our school could be developed. The appointed team work tirelessly throughout the rest of the year organising school events, supporting their fellow pupils’ wellbeing, promoting a love of reading, helping the school become more environmentally friendly, and representing the views of their peers. Together they form a vital part of the pupil voice that we encourage at our school. These roles also enable them to develop and model their leadership skills.
