We are a Bronze Level Rights Respecting School 2026-2028, working towards the Silver Award. Please read below for more information.

At HTSS, we are proactively working towards achieving a Rights Respecting Silver School accreditation by 2028, before going for Gold! Every child and member of our school community plays a vital part in this process.
Here are some examples of how a rights respecting approach is being embedded in life at HTSS:
- Our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) project focuses on providing all our children with amazing play opportunities, every day (Article 31).
- Alongside our Rights Leads, Ms Arnison and Ms Doades, our Y6 Leaders meet to champion and use their voice to make sure all children’s rights are respected and protected at our school. Our Y6 Play Leads attended a Camden Rights Steering Group to share how they’ve been promoting the right to play at HTSS, as well as to learn about other rights (Article 31).
- All children take part in Mitzah Day annually, an opportunity to engage in interfaith work and acts of service, such as creating cards for Great Ormond Street Hospital and supporting local food banks (Article 29; Article 15).
- Every summer term, all classes across school from Reception to Year 6 take part in Global Goals Week, an annual week of action where people and organisations worldwide come together to raise awareness and accelerate progress toward the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to end poverty, fight inequality, and protect the planet by 2030 (Article 6; Article 24).
- Our ‘Holy Trinity Way’ behaviour curriculum, and Three Cs of care, courage and cooperation, support all adults and children to help create a positive, rights respecting culture in our school (Article 28; Article 29).
- Across the school year, we work with external agencies to deliver workshops that support the development of healthy relationships – Human Utopia; Equaliteach (Article 2; Article 12), as well as to train our Y5s and Y6s to be ‘Hero Buddies’ for younger children (Article 12; Article 15; Article 19).
- At HTSS, children have access to worry boxes in classrooms; a school counsellor; an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant); Art Therapy; Educational Psychotherapy; and the Camden MHST (Mental Health Service Team), so as to support their wellbeing (Article 3; Article 12; Article 24).
