Christian Vision
Toward love and good deeds
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.

Reflections on Easter: Care, Courage, and Co-operation
As the spring term draws to a close, we reflect on the significance of Easter – a celebration of hope, renewal, and the transformative power of love. This links directly to our school values of Care, Courage, and Co-operation, and the way that these values are lived out by our children every single day.
The Easter journey begins with an incredible display of courage in the way that Jesus faced difficult situations and yet still stayed true to his purpose, even when he was afraid or alone. For us, having courage is never giving up on a difficult task, admitting to a mistake and having the strength to stand up for someone being treated unfairly.
The Last Supper, is a powerful example of service and kindness, and a reminder to look after those around us. Within our school, this care is the foundation of our community and is seen in both small and great act of kindness from adults and children alike. These small, daily acts of compassion are the true reflection of the Easter spirit, proving that when we lead with our hearts, we create a place for everyone.
Finally, the message of Easter is one of co-operation and community. The story of the resurrection and the gathering of the disciples reminds us that we are not meant to walk our paths in isolation. We know that our school flourishes best when we each bring something of our own and work together towards a common goal. Our values teach our children that we can achieve so much more when we listen, share, and support one another.
We wish you all a peaceful and Happy Easter and hope that the holidays bring time for rest and reflection. We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 13th April from 8:40am.

Quiz Night
A huge thank you to PiP for organizing such a fantastic quiz night! We are also incredibly grateful to our staff, parents, and friends who joined us and made the evening so enjoyable. We are delighted to announce that together, we raised £1,500 toward PiP’s annual fundraising target of £13,500.
This fundraising is vital in helping us enhance our children’s learning through enriched arts and sports programmes. By working with specialists, we provide our children with foundational experiences that build their ‘sense of self’ and nurture the confidence to believe that anything is possible when they apply themselves. Thank you for your continued support in making these opportunities a reality.
If parents, family or friends are able to support the school regularly, please set up a regular donation with gift aid via our regular giving scheme on the link below. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference.

Year 3-6 Gymnastics Competition

This week, we were incredibly proud to take two teams to a Camden gymnastics competition, with pupils from Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6 representing the school. Each gymnast performed both a floor routine and a vault, demonstrating impressive skill, control, and confidence throughout. The standard of their performances was extremely high, and all of our pupils rose to the challenge brilliantly.
We are delighted to share that both teams finished in 1st place, competing against three other schools. This is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the hard work and dedication shown by all involved. The pupils conducted themselves superbly, showing care, courage and cooperation from start to finish. They truly represented the school in the best possible way.
A few special mentions go to: Summer, Eliana, Dea, Isla and Sienna for their outstanding performances on the day. Congratulations to all of our gymnasts – an amazing accomplishment, we are all very proud!
Air con update
We would like to thank all the families again for their generous donations – we truly couldn’t do this without you!
We’re pleased to share that a provider has now been appointed by the school, and we are currently working through the various checks and requirements needed before submitting the planning application to Camden Council. There are several parts moving at the same time, and we are working as quickly as possible to get everything in place so the units can be installed for the summer season.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding, and we will keep you updated as things progress.
OPAL update
This week’s OPAL update is a celebration of some of the children’s play highlights from this term. Enjoy! Thank you for your support in donating items and sending in appropriate/spare clothing. Bring on an OPAL summer!

We are currently collecting the following items for OPAL. Please pop them into the blue wheelie bins outside church hall. Many thanks in advance!
- Kitchenware – old saucepans, frying pans, kitchen utensils, bowls, plastic plates, old/unwanted toasters, microwaves… anything we can safely use in our mud kitchen!
- Cardboard boxes of all shapes and sizes – please put these in the blue OPAL bins outside the church hall
- Flowers/petals for the mud kitchen/potions station – instead of throwing away your ‘past their best’ flowers, pop them in the blue bucket next to the OPAL bins outside the church
If you are able to donate any amount towards our OPAL fund, big or small, please click here. Many thanks! We are currently fundraising for another social space to join our new big green den (a small green den!)

Behaviour Tip: for cooperation at home over the holidays!
Try focusing on collaborative transitions to help your child navigate the change in pace that holidays will bring. Instead of giving sudden demands, give them a five-minute heads-up and invite them to help plan the next part of the day or activity. This respects their need for autonomy and reduces the friction that often leads to outbursts. By involving them in simple decision-making, like choosing which shoes to wear or which path to walk, you reinforce the value of mutual respect. When children feel like active partners rather than just being told what to do, they are much more likely to stay regulated and cooperative. Here are five simple, relational phrases to use during the Easter holidays to invite cooperation:
“In five minutes, it’s time to [new activity]; do you want to finish your drawing or your LEGO tower first?” (Offers a predictable countdown and autonomy within a boundary).
“When your shoes are on, then we can head to the park; which pair feel the most comfortable for climbing today?” (Uses a ‘when/then’ structure to link a task to a reward).
“I can see you’re having so much fun with your toys; in 5 minutes, let’s work as a team to tidy up so we have space for lunch.” (Validates their feelings and invites them into a ‘teamwork’ mindset).
“It looks like your body needs a break; would you like a hug or some quiet time in your bedroom/calm corner?” (Recognises their emotional state and offers co-regulation options).
“I’m not sure how to make this work for everyone; do you have any ideas on how we can share this fairly?” (Promotes mutual respect by involving them in collaborative problem-solving).
Occasional Places
On occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.
Attendance and Punctuality

Our attendance continues to be at 96.5% yet again this week, we are hoping to hit our schoold standard of 97% for the final week of term next week.
