On Monday, Year 4 kicked off their new history topic in style! With the help of some visiting actors, the children brought Ancient Rome to life. There were gladiators, ferocious Picts, Roman make-up artists and hairdressers, shopkeepers, road builders, and even a detachment of Roman soldiers using the ‘testudo’ formation!
The children did a fantastic job of rehearsing and performing a brilliant play, all in the space of one workshop. We hope you enjoy the photos!
