In an exciting exploration of our local history, the Year 6 class embarked on a fascinating journey through Camden’s streets. Armed with curiosity and historical knowledge, we ventured out to discover the lingering effects of the Blitz on our beloved neighbourhood. Our adventure led us to examine the stark contrasts between pre-war and post-war construction, highlighting the resilience of our community. Surprisingly, we even uncovered that our playground had grown in size due to the wartime bombings. It was a remarkable lesson in the enduring spirit of Camden and how history shapes the world around us.
