OPAL update
Thank you for everything that you have donated to OPAL so far, we are very grateful. The children are really enjoying playing with the donated toys, cardboard and water play resources. We have also raised nearly £400 in donations on parent pay for new equipment! We are hoping to reach £1000 so that we can buy a full construction trolley with blocks for the big playground (see image below). Perfect for building and den making!

If you would like to/are able to contribute to the project, however big or small, please click on the link here to donate.

Behaviour Tip: Beware of the ‘naughty’ word
Try to remember that, if you tell a child they are naughty, bad, aggressive, difficult or trouble often enough, they won’t just believe it, they will filter every thought and action through it. Protect your children by focusing your language on the unwanted behaviour rather than the character of your child.
Occasional Places
On occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.
Christian Vision
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.
Toward love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10: 24

This week the ‘O Antiphon’ was ‘O Clavis David’ – a powerful and traditional title for Jesus, meaning ‘O Key of David.’ We know that keys open locks, granting or welcoming entry, as well as setting something free. Jesus is called the ‘Key of David’ because he has the ultimate authority, inherited through his ancestor King David, to open the door to God’s greatest gifts—love, forgiveness, and the freedom from sadness or wrong choices. This key is a symbol of spiritual power that unlocks goodness for everyone who chooses to follow him.
We are encouraged to reflect on how we can all become a key for good in our actions and our words. We should also ensure that we do not judge people by how they look on the outside, but by the kindness and goodness they carry inside. We all have the potential to be a “key” that God can use to open doors for others.
Attendance and Punctuality

Our attendance reached a phenomenal 96.5% this week, which is our school standard. Well done everybody.
The attendance bears went to: Y2 with 100% and Y3 with 98.5%
Well done to Y1 & Y6 for winning the early birds for punctuality.
