Friday saw the launch of our new OPAL (Outdoor Play & Learning) playtime project! The children all took part in a play assembly with Mrs Goll and Ms Arnison in the morning, where they heard about the project, discussed how to show the Three Cs at playtime, and agreed a plan for tidy up time. When lunch time came, the entire playground was opened so that all age groups could access all areas – this was a huge success! Our junior children relished the opportunity to play in the sand pit and mud kitchen! Children of different ages enjoyed dressing up and playing together, and many of the little ones loved bouncing on the trampoline and playing on the pitch.
