To celebrate World Book Day, Year 1 had ‘Stanley’s Stick’ author John Hegley visit them in class. He told the class all about his book and writing process, and that the book had been translated into different languages too. It was great fun hearing ‘Stanley’s Stick’ being read by its author and learning more about the background of this tale too.
