Year 1 took inspiration from the work of artist Andy Goldsworthy to create their own pieces of land art using natural resources. They worked in small groups to create their own designs using a variety of materials including leaves, sticks, sand and stones. After studying some of Andy Goldsworthy’s work, the children tried to replicate some of the themes he uses such as repetition and the use of circles/spirals. We think they look beautiful!
