This week, Year 2 took part in a special storytelling workshop to celebrate Black History Month. We revisited our learning about Mary Seacole from last year and explored our current history topic on Rosa Parks.
Through storytelling, the children deepened their understanding of these significant individuals, learning about their lives, achievements and the courage they showed in challenging times. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the important contributions they made to history.
Well done, Year 2, for being such thoughtful and engaged historians!
