Autumn term club sign up
Clubs will go live for payment on Tuesday 14th July at 6pm, on the Arbor Parent Portal. Due to the small size of our school, there are limited spaces and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Parents can only sign up to clubs by paying for them on the Arbor parent portal. Please ensure you are able to log on to Arbor prior to the day. If your payment goes through then you have a space. If you do not receive a space, you can e-mail l.stenmark@holytrinitynw1.camden.sch.uk and request to go on the waiting list. We really encourage you to do this. Please click here to read the club offer for Autumn Term.
Shakespeare Project
What an incredible showcase of talent and dedication we have seen this week as our annual Shakespeare project reached its grand finale! Across the three performances of The Winter’s Tale, our pupils—from our youngest infants through to Year 6—have been nothing short of exceptional.
This success was driven by a powerful collaboration: by school staff working closely with specialist dance and drama teachers, our pupils were given the unique opportunity to co-create their productions, blending professional expertise with their own creative voices. It has been a joy to watch them flourish, navigating challenging material with confidence and flair.
Beyond the stage, this project has been a true embodiment of the Holy Trinity Way, providing a platform for children to demonstrate the care, courage, and co-operation required to bring such a complex narrative to life. The fantastic writing produced in response to the themes of the play has been equally impressive, serving as a testament to the depth of their engagement.
Thank you to all the parents and carers (PiP) who make this project possible.
Extra Mile Award

We are delighted to announce that our wonderful Coach Steve has been honoured with the Camden ‘Extra Mile’ Award. This well-deserved recognition celebrates his profound impact on our school, where his dedication has transformed not only our physical education curriculum but also the culture, behaviour, and wellbeing of our entire community.
Steve delivers consistently high-quality PE lessons across all year groups, going above and beyond to support every child. His patient yet firm approach has been instrumental in boosting pupil engagement and fostering positive behaviour across the school. Under his leadership, we have become active participants in all cross-school competitions, where our teams are regularly celebrated not only for their high level of achievement but for their exceptional sportsmanship and teamwork.
An inspiration to our children and a highly valued member of our team, Steve uses physical activity as a powerful vehicle to build character, confidence, and community. He embodies the spirit of the ‘Extra Mile’ in every endeavour, and we are incredibly proud to have nominated him for this prestigious award.
PiP Treasurer
We are looking for someone to succeed Pam Xenitellis as Treasurer for PiP and Trustee of the Holy Trinity & St Silas Foundation. We want to use this opportunity to thank Pam for her many years of hard work and commitment in this voluntary role. Thank you Pam!

Monday 13th July 2:30pm in the church – all are welcome. We will notify you separately if your child will be receiving a prize.
Air Conditioning Update
We know that everyone is very keen to get the Air Con installed , and that the children have been waiting for a long time for this. Having first been delayed by being advised we needed special sound-reducing covers and needing to source those, we’ve hit a further obstacle with Camden Council who have refused our planning application (on the grounds that on a listed building the covers should not be metal but a more ‘sensitive’ material). This is extremely frustrating and we can only apologise; PiP and the school are doing all we can to challenge and expedite this. Unfortunately though it now looks unlikely that we will be able to install the Air Con this term. Please be assured that the system will be installed just as soon as we have resolved these issues. We will update you when we have more (hopefully better!) news to share.
Regular Giving
If parents, family or friends are able to support the school regularly, please set up a regular donation with gift aid via our regular giving scheme on the link below. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference.

Christian Vision
Toward love and good deeds
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.
Hebrews 10: 24

This week we have been thinking a saint that is very close to our heart, St Silas. He is a wonderful example of a companion and a collaborator. In his life, he showed incredible courage by travelling to new places and taking on great responsibilities in the face of uncertainty. He reminds us that stepping out of our comfort zones is often the first step toward growth.
However, Silas did not work alone. His journey was defined by his commitment to co-operation. He understood that the most meaningful work is done when we support one another, listen to different perspectives, and pull together toward a common goal. This spirit of partnership is exactly what we see in our classrooms and playgrounds every day, as our pupils work together to solve problems and support their one another.
At the heart of everything we do is care. Just as St. Silas was known for his dedication to those around him, we strive to ensure that every child in our school feels seen, valued, and nurtured. When we lead with kindness and look out for one another, we create a secure foundation where every child can truly flourish.
St. Silas will always guide us in brave, working together, and caring deeply for one another, so that we may continue to grow, flourish and achieve our very best.
OPAL update
As the term comes to a close, we are reminded of our OPAL journey: from introducing ‘quick wins’ such as cardboard boxes, dressing up and small world play; to opening up both playgrounds so that all children can access messy play, the pitch, the stage and music; to introducing den-making, swings and
If you are interested in reading more about our approach to play, you can access our play policy here.
If you are able to donate any amount towards our OPAL fund, big or small, please click here. Many thanks! We met our target for the small green den and plan to add this to our playground offer within the next couple of weeks. Thank you to all who were able to donate to the fund!
Uniform update 26-27

To support active learning and outdoor play in our school, we are moving to an ‘always active
uniform,’ starting September 2026. Click here to read the updates letter sent out earlier today.
Please note that the academic year 2026–2027 will be a transition year. There is no rush to buy new
items; children can continue to wear their current uniform until they outgrow it. PiP will also be selling
pre-loved current uniform at a discounted rate.
The uniform updates are minor, affordable, and maintain a smart appearance while making it easier
for children to be active. Click here to read the full policy and view the updated uniform list. To learn more, visit www.activeuniform.org or watch this video.

Behaviour Tip: managing transition
| As the school year come to an end, it’s completely normal for children to experience a mix of excitement and anxiety about transitioning to a new class. You can support them by making space for these big feelings: listen without immediately trying to fix their worries and let them know that lots of people feel this way when things change; refer back to times when they have felt nervous or worried before and have shown courage; help them feel contained by keeping home routines as consistent and predictable as possible and by talking positively about their new teachers and environment. |
Occasional Places
On occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.
Attendance and Punctuality

Our attendance this week is at the school standard of 97%. Well done everyone!
Congratulations to the following classes who had the best attendance this week: Y1 with 98.6% and Y3 with 99.7%.
