Year 4’s visit to the London Mithraeum

Year 4 visited the Roman Mithraeum: an ancient temple dedicated to the Roman god Mithras.

On the trip, we learnt about Mithras and the Roman religion of Mithraism, and got to go underground into the remains of this secret temple! The children also explored Ancient Roman artefacts from the Museum of London to unpick what life was like in Roman Britain.
