On Tuesday, we had our very first Art-a-Thon at school, and it was an incredible experience! As a class, we took inspiration from the story book – Wonder, using a special Year 5 prompt and the storybook to guide our drawings, on the longest artwork ever! Throughout the day, we took part in three ‘Drop and Draw’ sessions, where we responded to creative prompts to produce fantastic artwork.
We also had a wonderful art lesson with our talented teacher, Ms. Periton, where we designed beautiful postcards to be showcased in an exhibition! The children showed such creativity and enthusiasm—it was truly a day to remember!
Well done to everyone for their hard work and artistic brilliance! We even dressed up as artist!
