In RE, we explored the question “Whose story is the Nativity to tell?” and discussed different perspectives within the Nativity story. The children shared thoughtful ideas about whose voices are often heard and whose might be overlooked. To represent their understanding, the children decided to create artwork. They spent the afternoon producing creative pieces using collage materials, pens, pencils and watercolour paints, thoughtfully expressing their learning and interpretations of the Nativity story through art.
