Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Nelson Mandela

As we close for the summer, we want to thank all our families for the care, courage and co-operation they have shown to us throughout the year. We wish our wonderful Y6 children every success as they transition to secondary school and look forward to welcoming everyone else back in September. Enjoy the summer break!

School will reopen for children on Wednesday 6th September 2023 from 8:40am

Your child is invited to sign up for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. Sign up at your local library!
The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to keep reading during the school summer holidays – and to enjoy anything they like to read! Children aged 4-11 are invited to set a reading goal, and collect rewards for their reading.
It’s FREE to take part, and last year 75% of children taking part improved their reading skills over the holidays.
Why should my child sign up?

  • They will be better prepared to return to school in the autumn.
  • The Challenge supports the move into a new year group.
  • Becoming more independent in their reading boosts children’s confidence and self-esteem.
  • The library provides free access to books and fun family activities all through the summer.
  • Library staff are on hand to offer support and book recommendations.

GOVERNORS END OF YEAR REPORT

You can find our governors committee report on our website under governors or by following this link.

Free School Meals

The Mayor of London has committed to every primary age child receiving a free school meal from September for one full academic year. This means you will not need to pay for dinners on Parentpay during this time. If your child is currently on packed lunches, you will have had a letter home offering you to sign up for dinners. This must happen via the office. Please contact l.stenmark@holytrinitynw1.camden.sch.uk with any questions.

September date for your diaries

We will be holding a Meet the Parents event at school on Thursday September 21st from 6 to 7pm. If you are thinking about where to send your child for secondary, this is a great chance to hear from families at our local secondaries and ask them whatever you want. More details to follow in the autumn term.

Summer Activities

  • Don’t forget to sign up to Coach Steve’s Summer Camps before places run out.

More information and registration go to: www.prorevo.co.uk or email: prorevolution.development@gmail.com

  • If your child is in Y3-Y7 they might also enjoy the Cricket Coaching Programme.

Christian Values

Values are the basis of our personal development. They make us who we are. Christian values are at the heart of church schools: they shape every aspect of school life. Christian beliefs should permeate these values, providing the rationale for what we do and why we do it. In a church school our school’s values are grounded in the wisdom and understanding of Christian faith, for it is the Christian tradition that gives these values context and the life of Jesus which gives them moral authority. Our church school’s ethos grows naturally out of core Christian beliefs that are recognised by all members of the school community.
