Just don’t give up what you’re trying to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.

Exciting news from PIP…. Turtle Bay Camden are generously sponsoring our event! They will be serving a delicious range of dishes for everyone to enjoy – jerk chicken wings, curry channa & spinach, plantain, rice & peas, and coleslaw.
Our wonderful school chef, Ola, is also kindly preparing jollof rice and chicken – so there’ll be plenty of savoury food!
🍰 What PIP really need now are cakes, bakes and dessert donations. Please help if you can — every contribution makes a big difference!
PIP also need helpers to set up, run the stalls and clear up too! Please speak to a PIP rep if you can help.

Y6 Leadership Teams
We were delighted to allocate leadership roles to our Y6 children in the following areas:
- Reading champions
- Wellbeing champions
- Eco school champions
- Sports leaders
- School ambassadors
- Play leaders
Throughout the year they will have many opportunities to lead a range of developments in our school to the benefit of all!
Occasional Places
on occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.
The Holy Trinity Way – Preventative Language
In school we use preventative language to make clear our expectations and to support children to make positive behaviour choices. You can do this at home too. Try replacing ‘stop that’ (or various connotations of it!) with something more preventative. Try ‘Remember our rule about…’ or ‘I need you to show…’ or ‘Do you remember last week when you ate all of your dinner without fuss? That’s what I need from you now, thank you.’
Christian Vision
At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.
Toward love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10: 24

This week, continuing our focus on Moses, we learnt about and reflected on the Ten Commandments – the special rules God gave us long ago. These are intended to help us live happy lives, show love to God and show love to one another. They teach us how to be good people. In order to flourish as we work together, sharing space and resources with other people, we need rules. That way we are more able to develop our fullest sense of self, collectively and not just individually.
Jesus taught us that all ten of these rules can be put into just two great commandments that help us remember everything: ‘Love the Lord your God’ and ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ We do something similar at school. We do not have a huge long list of things you cannot do. We have three rules: Care, Courage, Cooperation. They are all we need.
As part of our spiritual development, it is important to reflect on this (or as we call it in school take a mirror moment). Rules don’t restrict our freedom, they protect it. Think of how chaotic/selfish/uncaring a place our school would be if we did not have rules; people doing whatever they felt like doing, without caring if it hurt other people. Now think of a school where everyone always shows care to themselves and others, shows courage to try hard when things are tough and tell the truth, and cooperates with other children and adults. Think of what a happy, peaceful and safe place that would be – that is the reality we want for the children and adults in our school.
Attendance and Punctuality

Our attendance was back to 97% this week! Well done everyone for maintaining the school standard so well and for taking advantage of every opportunity to learn.
The attendance bears went to: Y2 with 99% and Y4 with 99%
Well done Y2 & Y3 for winning the early birds for punctuality.
