Ofsted Inspection Report

Message from Katie Roden (Chair of Governors) on behalf of the Full Governing Body:

I hope that you have all had a chance to read our Ofsted report (click on this link). On behalf of all the governors, I would like to thank you all for your ongoing commitment to and support for our school community – our approach to learning and development, our wonderful staff and your brilliant children. The report really summed up the Holy Trinity experience and the ambition, warmth, excellence and creativity that we all share. Our very best wishes.

Arbor

We are writing to let you know that we have moved to a new central data management platform for schools called Arbor. This is being implemented across all Camden schools.

We will be using it for communicating with you, for clubs and for parents’ evening sign-ups (which will be happening very soon). We kindly ask that all our parents take a moment to sign up to Arbor over the weekend. Click here to find out how.

OPAL update

Next week, the OPAL working party will be meeting to review how the project is going so far, as well as to discuss next steps. Watch this space for more information!…

We are currently saving up for some pods for the playground, for children who prefer a cosy, quieter space during playtimes. If you are able to donate any amount towards the fund, big or small, please click here. Many thanks!

The Holy Trinity Way

Behaviour Tip: FEAR response

Understanding the way we respond to tricky behaviour is useful. We can often experience FEAR (False Experiences Appearing Real). The escalation of our own worries can take us from seeing our children showing age-appropriate resistance to worrying they will struggle with relationships or behaviour as adults. Try to identify the next time FEAR shapes the way you react to your children’s behaviour.

Occasional Places

On occasion we have spaces in which to welcome new children and families to our school. You are the ones that know us best, so if you know of any family looking for a school place, please do advise them to contact the school office to find out if we have any places. They are also very welcome to visit.

Christian Vision

At the heart of our school are high expectations and depth in faith that inspire us to grow, flourish and work together to achieve our full potential. It is our intention that we all develop our fullest sense of self, both individually and collectively.

Toward love and good deeds.

Hebrews 10: 24

This week we thought about how Jesus is the Light of the World. He doesn’t want his light to be hidden; he wants it to shine through each of us to make our school a brighter, warmer place. Just as a lamp helps people find their way, Jesus’ love acts as a guide for how we treat one another every single day.

We show this light first through care. When we are kind to someone who is lonely or help a friend who is hurt, we are sharing the “warmth” of Jesus. This gentle light ensures that nobody in our school feels left out or forgotten. By noticing the needs of others, we let Jesus’ love shine through our hands and our hearts.

It also takes courage to keep our light burning bright. Sometimes it is hard to do the right thing when others are being unkind or when we feel afraid. Courage is the strength that allows our light to cut through the darkness of fear. When we are brave enough to stand up for what is right or tell the truth, we show everyone the strength that Jesus gives us.

Finally, we shine best through co-operation. One small candle is good, but many candles glowing together can light up a whole room. When we work as a team and support one another, we reflect Jesus’ light even further. By combining our care, our courage, and our co-operation, we become a ‘lighthouse’ that brings hope and joy to our entire community.

Attendance and Punctuality

Our attendance for this week has sadly dropped to 93% but there has been quite a lot of illness. We hope that everyone is back fit and well for next week!

The attendance bears go to Y2 with 97% and Y3 with 96%!

Well done to Y2 & Y3 for winning the early birds for punctuality.

Cool the School Fundraiser – An update on Cool The School

Our thanks again to parents and carers for their generous donations for the school air cooling system. Our total fund now stands at a whopping £28,038!

We are in the process of sourcing some further quotes, scoping the ancillary works and looking into planning permission to make sure we can start the project as soon as we can.

Camden Music Service

Why this matters, now more than ever.
Children who experience tension or conflict at home often struggle more with:

  • concentration and learning

By strengthening parenting skills and reducing conflict early, we help children feel safer, calmer and better equipped to thrive both at home and at school.
