Year 1 have been busy developing their knowledge of cooking and nutrition by designing and making some delicious dips! The children learnt about savoury dips from different cultures and discussed the importance of eating a variety of fruits and vegetables in their diet. They then had a great time preparing different ingredients, using tools to cut the ingredients and then combining these to create some delicious dips. The children were very excited to cook in the Year 1 classroom and then share what they had made with Reception and Year 2.
