In Science this week, Year 2 went on a exciting materials hunt around the playground. The children carefully observed different objects, drew them, and labelled the materials they were made from.
We also thought about the properties of each material, describing whether they were hard, soft, rough, smooth, waterproof or transparent. The children showed fantastic scientific thinking and observation skills throughout the lesson.
Well done, Year 2, for being such brilliant young scientists!
